• NO, it can't be done !

Although I am living off STEEM completely at the moment, it's getting very hard to earn decent money as per Indian Standards. I am going to take it up for people living in various locations and how they use the platform.

For people living in First world countries cannot live off STEEM as a content creator.(Only few are exceptions who are posting daily and getting like $50 up-votes everyday.) As developers they might be making money developing application for others.

For other kinds of freelancers, Steem is also unprofitable as of now because there is not enough demand because less jobs. Future will change that for sure but not now.

For people living in Second and Third world countries can survive but it's hard to get steady income. Which is what I am facing right now. That's why I am trying to support my finances with other Freelance jobs I can get off the platform.

My Suggestion: Develop skills on STEEM and put them to use on various platforms. STEEM has a bright future but in order to reach that future comfortably, have a backup income source.
