India announced the complete lock down of the country on 25th march and its still going on. India being most populated country in world, till now successfully fighting with corona and having cases less than 50 thousand.
The first thing Prime minister Narendra modi addressed the nation and announced the lock down, shut down of public and private transport, airlines helped the country to prevent the entry of the virus through other countries.
A strict check up at airports held to identify the patients but due to selfishness and carelessness of people who tricked the medical officials skipped the quarantine time by taking medicine to appear normal in medical check up.
Thats how major erupt of the virus took place and spread to the cities. All the IT offices and private organisations instructed to give employees either paid holiday or unpaid or continue to work from home.
All the state governments taken necessary actions to distribute the daily needed groceries through volunteers under severe precautions. prime minister assured that government will deposit some amount in their bank accounts for daily wagers and who lost income.
Currently India got 31,300+ positive cases and Recovered 7,696. The Deaths are around 1,007. but these numbers are very minimum when compared to other developed countries like USA and Italy. This is because the government valued the lives of people than economy.
In India people also really well co-operating with the government expect in some places and staying in homes. Most of the celebrities and industries donated huge amount in millions of money to the government and charity trustees to provide basic necessitates and food for the poor and who stuck in different places and cant reach to home due to unavailability of the transport.
India being industry of films production, a lot of film junior artists and technicians, theaters, shopping malls are suffering badly and god knows how they are getting through each day with out work and no alternatives.
In my state there around 11 hundred cases an most of them are in capital city and in my city khammam there are only 7 positive cases n which one person already recovered and discharged from the hospital.
