I see tons of children doing this in our place in the past. It's actually a great way for people with limited resources to spend time with their friends, kind of like going to the pool with your friends without having to pay for fees and all that. But their parents would always get worried of them getting sick from the water, if maybe my parents weren't all that scared, I could have experienced this too.
