I think marriage is such an important chapter in our lives because it signifies a moment of unity between people who love each other dearly. It's a part of life where we are ready to give everything up and spend all hardships in life together with our partners.

Personally, I think that it is overhyped because we tend to see that marriage and union are the best forms of love when it isn't. When it comes to love, there is no one better showing that to us than our parents.

Lastly, since marriage is about love, I think that love is also about letting go. Think of a flower so beautiful in the park, if you truly loved that flower, you would view it from a distance allowing it to grow and blossom. Compared to picking it up and dying in your hands just because you wanted to bring it home with you.
