Third principle: If the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade from worship and worship, not because of any obstruction, but if one of his Ummah performs it then he would be considered as a bidat in the Shari'ah.
Because if it were lawful then it was necessary to do so. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had abandoned his religion and worship without interruption. This proves that 'the act is not lawful. Therefore, he performs deeds, because it is not permissible for any other person, so it will be done.
Example:
- Azan 'for all other prayers except for five prayers and Juma'. In the light of the above principles, it will be considered as a bid.
- When you start praying, read the sentence of intention. As the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to refrain from doing so and intended only with heart, it would be considered to be a bidat during the time of decision.
- Due to danger and storm, the call of Azan in the house will also be considered in the light of the above principles. Because what is to be read in danger or what should be done, it is well-described in Hadith.
- In order to celebrate the birth of the Prophet (peace be upon him) or to seek Allah's blessing, or to seek Allah's help in any work, it is considered to be in the light of the above principles.
