How are you Community friends, hope fully healthy and happy. Thank you #Wednesdaywalk by tattoodjay@tattoodjay ad host. This time I share the experience of a short walk in the Yogjakarta palace complex.

Palace complex(Komplek Kraton) is located in a special area of Yogjakarta Central Java. This palace complex covers an area of about 184 hectares, the entire area in side fort, the area of the Kedathon is about 13 hectars.

The road in the palace complex is not alone but is guide by an officer from a guide who explains of this palace. Yogjakarta palace still funtions as the residence of the Sultan and his wifes house hold.

Who still carry out the Sultanate traditional to this day. Entry the palace visitors pay, very cheap ticket. The palace building was build around 1755, including a preserved cultural heritage building.

The quite invites us with an explanation of the history of the building and its funtion. Yogjakarta palace is one of the tourist attractions in the City of Yogjakarta.

The palace as a complex of Culture activities and the residence of the Sultan and his family, not all are open to the public. I followed the guide and listened to his explanation about the palace complex.

Part of the complex is a museum that store various collections belonging to the Sultante. Short walk around the complex moving from one location to another. The Architecture of the palace complex takes the architecture style of traditional Javanese building, with a touch of ornamentalion from China, Islam, Portugal, Dutch.

The more complicated the ornamens indicats that the building has a high funtion. The construction is made of teak wood,with thick does and windows, the roof shape was a Joglo trapezoid.

Open yeard by using sand in each building, as rain water absorption such as buildings with out walk called wards, we can see wards with traditional musical instruments such as gamelan, gong, and so on.

This place is for music performences and other art performences. In another part there is a room that stores a collection of historical objects, you can see tables and chairs left by the previous Sultan.

Yogjakarta palace building was that built just like that, there are many philosophy meanings and meanings found around and the palace. The supporting building of this complex is like a building whose funtion is as a banquet room for still as quest,with no partitious and beautiful full ornaments.

There is a yellow building, a building like an official residence is also used as a private office.
