It's true people Will feel strange in a new place, especially in a country. My experience has been decades, originally from Javanese ethnicity, moving to Sundanese ethnicity. If calculated avdistance of about 500 kilometers, it did feel strange at first,because of the differentces in culture, language and adapted to the new conditions.
