Greetings.
Hello everyone, how are you all friends. Thank you Eating out inspiration by @shawnnft. If you are out or traveling and don't have time to eat at home, one way is to eat out.
For lunch earlier I stopped at the grilled chicken restaurant virgo. This restaurant is quite Legendary, located on the outskirts of the small town of Sukabumi, West Java, the distance from city center is about 8,4 kilometers.
The place is on the side of the road, easy to reach and the place is simple. The menu provided is grilled chicken and fried chicken. Both grilled and fried chicken use free-range chicken. I tried to go in and order two pieces of grilled chicken and four pieces of Nasi timbel.
Nasi timbel is rice wrapped in banana leaves and rolled into a ball, adding petai as a complement to the meal. The preparation process before grilling the chicken is quite long. The chicken is cleaned, then given fine spices such as garlic, shallots, turmeric, and other spices.
The next process is the chicken and spices are simmered over medium heat, the spices Will absorb into the chicken meat. The process is done in a different place, so at the restaurant the chicken is only grilled using Charcoal.
The grilling time is not too long, and not long the order arrived, on top of the grilled chicken is given sweet soy sauce and two Chilli sauce are provided for those who like, such as peanut sauce and tomato sauce.
After Eating, the waiter at the restaurant held a calculator and said that two pieces of grilled chicken were 50.000,- IDR, Nasi timbel was 20.000,- IDR and petai was 10.000,- IDR. So the total was 80.000,- IDR or round ($6,66)) quite affordable.
I asked the restaurant waiter how many chickens they sell a day, he said 50 chickens are sold or consumed by the diners.
Thank you for stopping by.
