Greetings dear community friends. In the small town of Sukabumi, West Java, where I live. There is a Legendary food called gado-gado. They have been selling since 1978 on jalan A Yani a small town in Sukabumi.
They used to sell in front of the old kodim, but now they have been selling godo-gado in simple stall for about five years. Of course, with the length of time they have been selling. There are many customers,some are elderly.
Some are continued by children, because when the customers were still alive. They were often invited to eat with their parent. Now, with the advancement of technology,order for gado-gado can be made through the Gofood application.
I tried to go in and eat gado-gado inside. I ordered a portion of gado-gado,and the seller immediatelly prepared the gado-gado ingredients. Which consisted of various vegetables such as thinly sliced cabbage.
long beans,carrots,steamed pumpkin,fresh lettuce,sliced cucumber, steamed potatoes,sliced fried tofu and sliced boiled chicken eggs. After all the gado-gado ingredients are neatly arranged on a plate, peanut sauce is poured over it.
The peanut sauce is finely ground through a process of mixing with spices. The taste is delicious,savory,slightly sweet.
One plate of gado-gado is prices at 25.000,- IDR or ($1,38).
The gado-gado stall is named Kang Maman,the founder of the stall,he passed away several years ago. And his son now continues the gado-gado business.
