Shirdi Sai Baba Temple
Baba of Shirdi promised before His Mahasamadhi, “I shall be active and vigorous even from the tomb”. Echoing these divine words and attracting millions from all over the world, the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple in the town of Shirdi in the Maharashtra State houses the tomb of the Divine Master.
The Location
History says the land where the temple is built was actually constructed as wada meaning a large private house during the final years of Baba’s life on earth. The land on which it is built was a dumping ground which was tended by Baba as a garden where he very fondly grew the plants of Jasmine and marigold to supply to the nearby temples.
