I visit a beautiful flea market

This market, one of the biggest in my opinion in Italy, takes place once a month in Piazzola sul Brenta, a beautiful location in the province of Padua. Below I will give you the GPS reference to better locate the place.

Honestly, when I arrived at the place, I didn't think the market would be so big, and I didn't think there would be so many people there, although I soon realised that I couldn't find a parking space. I started my exploration inside a shed where there were numerous stalls of exhibitors selling practically everything, from books to used things but also extremely valuable antiques. Those who come to these places come to find special things but also to find things that they can use every day for very little money, a way from my point of view also to recycle things that are no longer used but can be useful to someone.

In my exploration, I noticed some beautiful vinyl records, I used to collect a lot of them, and then there were some beautiful typewriters that are no longer usable but that some collectors I saw are willing to spend a lot of money to buy. Then you can also buy things that you can use in another way, it is always a good thing to recycle these things and not throw them away.

I then moved to the nearby Piazza Camerini, the main square of the town, and for many people in Italy this square has been very important in the past few years because an important music festival was held here, which is Festivalbar, I don't know if anyone living abroad has heard of it yet. In this part of the market you could practically find the most luxurious things in terms of antiques.

This square is really beautiful, because there is an important Venetian villa as a backdrop, I just practically limited myself to looking at these unique antiques, but I saw quite a few people buying these pieces.

As I told you before, there is an important Venetian villa that overlooks this square and it is Villa Contarini, a villa that belonged to an important Venetian family that practically built it on the remains of an ancient castle, then in 1700 this villa was enlarged thanks to one of the last heirs of the Contarini family, who was procurator of Venice, who gave it that baroque style that made it For some years the villa has become the property of the Veneto Region, it can be visited for a fee and behind the villa there is a very large beautiful park where you can walk. We are trying to enhance it, often creating events inside or even in the park.

I then continued my Walking tour, I still had several banquets left to see, sure that I have seen some really strange things like colored sheep. But we know that everyone has their own tastes, and therefore what I may not like, maybe someone finds it very interesting.

The very interesting thing I noticed is that they participate in this market, exhibiting local things, even people who come from other countries of the world. I saw people trying to sell carpets but also even more ethnic things.

Sometimes it happens that in these places where there is a lot of people, street artists perform who somehow want to raise some money to live or make their music known. In fact there was a group that was performing that it was a pleasure to hear them.

A bird magician was also present, I had never seen one live and was impressed with how the birds he trained listened to. Although there was a very funny moment, where a lady probably an environmentalist objected to it a bit. In fact, it has been some years that some movements of people have developed in Italy who do not want these animals to be used especially in the circus.
