Thank you for an extensive reply. I understand there is a number of factors you need to take into account, and low steem price is very problematic, too.

Here I'm taking a market maker point of view, which correlates in some areas even though its not exactly an investors' point of view. I would hope to make some profit providing low spread and liquidity to the market. But potential profit comes with several risks of the potential loss. Thus I'm trying to find out more about the project. I can get only like $1 upvotes for my posts, thus funds are coming from hard-earned money stash in the bank account.

Stopping the buyback program sends a negative signal to the market. In Apr-Jun period while steem was stronger, also BTS was up to 50% up. Buildteam tokens are also traded at the quite low rate last weeks. I'm not convinced it's good to stop the program due to current steem price unless you have more important needs and can utilize steem better.

Data in the spreadsheets in one of the linked posts were, as of today, very optimistic - it seems payouts were much lower in the last two periods. But I'm looking more for current performance data than some forecasts. A short report once per period or once per month telling:

  • number of awarded buildteam tokens
  • number of distributed steem
  • reasons for rising / falling steem payout
    -...
As posts published by buildteam currently get ~$50 in upvotes, if this revenue would be spent on buybacks it would allow to buy back 200 to 400 buildteam tokens each month. If I could also get some meaningful upvotes for market-making reports I could also add additional depth to buy-side of the market and provide more liquidity overall.

I have bought so far ~400 buildteam tokens, but I'm not interested in staking. I'm looking to using and improving trading strategies that provide liquidity to markets and stabilize exchange rates.
