The city of Seattle decided to approve an income tax measure for its wealthiest residents recently setting up a potential legal fight. I am generally opposed to the raising of taxes as I feel the government only raises taxes because it cannot control its own spending.

I think the city of Seattle will lose this legal challenge because a special tax on one group of people is unconstitutional. It seems that in the U.S. if you are successful the masses want to punish you and make you into a pariah.
I am not rich by any means, but I certainly don't hold it against anyone who is.
