This morning, like almost every morning in which the time available allows me before starting my work tasks, I reviewed the latest publications in my two favorite communities, #Leofinance and #Fulldeportes.

Surely we both believe that we live in the worst country in the world and that is true, but it is also false.
The majority of ordinary people, I mean those of us who must work to maintain our homes in search of stability first and sustained growth later, suffer from the inefficiency and lies of politicians who only remember us at election time so that once they have achieved their goals they can dedicate themselves to their personal enrichment and that of their environment.
In an environment of these characteristics, everything goes wrong and people, following that atavistic survival instinct, begin to break up in search of personal salvation, which leads to the dissolution of society in terms of a lack of empathy, solidarity and joint work.
Justice, security, education and health are not working properly because the basic functions of the state are not important to the rulers. We find ourselves in that situation here and surely also in Nigeria and many other countries.
Just as that is bad, very bad if you prefer, we think that there are other places, mainly in what we call the first world, where everything is wonderful and works as it should. But someone who lives in those countries comes to visit and they tell you things that show that our perception of them is wrong, they also have their problems and in certain aspects some of them are very serious, worse than ours if you will.
Nobody has a government system and a perfect society, that does not exist and will never exist because the world is inhabited by people and we all have defects and virtues, perhaps some of us have a higher percentage of people with defects, due to various issues that we can discuss for a long time without agreeing.
In recent months I have received visits from Spain and the Netherlands, I also have a friend visiting his family in the United States, all of them tell of situations and problems that I thought did not exist in those places that I obviously idealize.
For this reason friends, my country has many defects, but it is where I was born, grew up, made a home and have most of my loved ones, I must, from the place that fell to me, continue fighting so that the situation improves, to have better rulers, so that the future changes for my descendants.
I have several friends who have migrated here from other places and I know that their situation was unsustainable in their countries of origin. I hope and pray that this does not happen again here. I have faith that this will be reversed. At one time we were a country that many saw as the future, we lost our way but we will find it again.
No todo lo que brilla es oro
Esta mañana como casi todas en las que el tiempo disponible me lo permite antes de iniciar mis tareas laborales, hice un repaso de las últimas publicaciones en mis dos comunidades favoritas, #Leofinance y #Fulldeportes.

Seguramente ambos creemos que vivimos en el peor país del mundo y eso es cierto, pero también es falso.
La mayoría de las personas comunes, me refiero a las que debemos trabajar para mantener nuestros hogares en busca de estabilidad primero y crecimiento sostenido luego, sufrimos con la ineficacia y las mentiras de los políticos que solo se acuerdan de nosotros en los tiempos de elecciones para una vez conseguidos sus objetivos dedicarse a su enriquecimiento personal y el de su entorno.
En un entorno de esas características todo funciona mal y las personas, siguiendo ese instinto atávico de la supervivencia, comienzan a disgregarse en búsqueda de la salvación personal lo cual lleva a la disolución de la sociedad en cuanto a la falta de empatía, solidaridad y trabajo mancomunado.
No funciona como corresponde la justicia, la seguridad, la educación y la salud porque las funciones básicas del estado no son importantes para los gobernantes. En esa situación nos encontramos aquí y seguramente también en Nigeria y muchos otros países.
Así como eso es malo, muy malo si lo prefieren, pensamos que hay otros lugares, principalmente en lo que llamamos primer mundo, que todo es maravilloso y funciona como corresponde. Pero viene de visita alguien que vive en esos países y te cuentan cosas que demuestran que nuestra percepción de ellos es equivocada, también tienen sus problemas y en ciertos aspectos algunos muy graves, peores que los nuestros si se quiere.
Nadie tiene el sistema de gobierno y una sociedad perfecta, eso no existe y no existirá jamás porque el mundo está habitado por personas y todos tenemos defectos y virtudes, a algunos quizás nos toca un porcentaje mayor de personas con defectos, por diversas cuestiones que podemos discutir durante mucho tiempo sin ponernos de acuerdo.
En los últimos meses he recibido visitas provenientes de España y Paises Bajos, además tengo un amigo visitando a su familia en los Estados Unidos, todos cuentan situaciones y problemas que yo creía no existían en esos lugares a los cuales evidentemente idealizo.
Por eso amigos, mi país tiene muchos defectos, pero es donde nací, crecí, formé un hogar y tengo a la mayoría de mis seres queridos, debo, desde el lugar que me tocó en suerte, continuar luchando para que la situación mejore, para tener mejores gobernantes, para que el futuro cambie para mis descendientes.
Tengo varios amigos que han migrado de otros lados hasta aquí y conozco que su situación era insostenible en sus países de origen, espero y ruego que eso no se repita aquí, tengo fe en que esto se revertirá, fuimos en alguna época un país al que muchos miraban como el futuro, perdimos el rumbo pero lo volveremos a encontrar.
