Programming Method
Programming the DR-55 is done in "Step-Mode" using the Start and Stop buttons:
Set the mode switch to Write.
Select the instrument (BD, SD, or RS) or Accent using the sound switch.
Use the Start button to place a hit (beat) and the Stop button to place a rest (step forward).
The machine automatically cycles through the 12 or 16 steps until the measure is complete.
