Hello everyone, you are welcome to my first weekly report as a team leader of the newbies initiative program which started September and will end by December. I'm fortunate to be the leader of the team 3 and it has been a really fun and exciting experience for me and even my fellow team leaders. So today, I will be giving a report on my team's progress so far for the first task that was given and also look at the way forward.

TASK REVIEW

The first task was focused more on setting goals and possible ways of achieving them and you can find out more about the task 👉 _{NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK 1 - MY HIVE GOALS AND STRATEGIES FOR ACHIEVING THEM}. Those that did the task all did really well to set a goal for themselves with a guide from a post made by @starstrings01 on _{HOW TO SET SMART GOALS} and you can also check it out to learn more about how to set SMART goals.

So without further ado, I will be taking you through a brief intro to the amazing persons on my team, their performances and some observations and way forward.

MY TEAM MEMBERS

I have 8 persons on my team and all of them were able to carry out the first task before the set deadline and I must commend all of them for a job well done, keep up the good work guys, it's an honor to have you guys on my team and I wish you guys all the best for the next task which you can find the full details here 👉 TASK 2.

OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF MY TEAM MEMBERS

From the above list you can see that non of them omitted the task, the first task was done and dusted. But out of all of them that participated in the task, I was very impressed with two persons on my team because they gave a very detailed explanation of their goals and ways of achieving them. It was obvious that they listened to my instructions as a TL and I can't help but commend the both of them and hope that the rest of them do better next time.

@moremoney28 and @geelocks were the best for the first task and I'm sure you can see that when you go through their task link. But I will have to award the best among the both of them and that will go to @moremoney28 because he was both consistent in engagement and posting contents. For that reason, as instructed by our leader @starstrings01, 10% beneficiary of this post will be given to him, congratulations @moremoney28 I hope to see you do better for the next task and please do well to carry the others along, remember it's a teamwork.

Advice -

As a team leader to her team members the major advice I have for you guys is, always listen to the instructions and try to follow them accordingly because I saw that some of you were relying more on what you already think you know but it shouldn't be that way, we all learn everyday. And also, always ask questions to get more understanding of something, don't work with partial knowledge, it is risky! I want all your efforts to count so always do the needful at the right time.

It will be a little of an attack if I should call each of us and spell out their mistakes and that is why for the sake of this being the first report, I will go easy and hope I don't have to do that ever because I know you all will do better next time. So for those that know you might be affected in one way or another, actually you all are affected, do well to be better next time and always encourage yourselves at all times. The rule is no one should be left behind, we should all go together, hehe.

SUMMARY/APPRECIATION

This is my report for the first task, please if there was anything I omitted or added wrongly don't hesitate to bring it to my attention, it will be of great help. I want to specially appreciate my amiable team leaders @vickoly and @nkemakonam89 for their continuous support and advice, you guys are just the best really.
