The WHO definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I was especially bothered by how they did not give credit or voice to the warnings from Taiwan.

Still, I find it ironic that Trump blaims the WHO for not declaring this to be a pandemic early enough. Even after they declared it as a pandemic, Trump did not take action in the US. Countries like Italy were getting explosions in cases, many countries had shut down but the US chose to wait longer and longer until it was too late.

I agree there are lots of good reasons for loosening the restrictions on people's freedom to move around and do business. I'm concerned about the well being of many people with small businesses.

However, if Trump had of exercised the shutdown earlier, we would likely have saved thousands of lives AND have been able to loosen the restrictions earlier.

So, WHO leaves a lot to be desired but Trump waited way too long to enforce a lockdown.
