CHAPTER 14. 구름 위에 있을 때 알 수 있는 사실 [What You Know When You're on Clouds]

여행을 마치고, 집에 돌아오는 길.
제주에서 김포로 향하는 비행기 안에서 본 것은
구름 위에 있을 때 알 수 있는 것이었다.

커다란 구름뭉치가
땅에 그늘을 만들어
눈부심 정도
가려주는 역할을 해준다는 것

아래 있을 때는
좀처럼 알기 힘든 사실,

구름 위에 있을 때만
알 수 있는 사실이다.

어쩌면 작은 그늘이라도
찾고자 하는
내 마음일지도.

On my way home from my trip.
I saw you on the plane from Jeju to Gimpo.
You could tell it only when it was above the clouds.

A big cloud cluster
In shade for the ground
Degree of glare
To be a protector of the world.

When down
It's hard to tell.
Only when it is above the clouds
It is a known fact.

Maybe a little shade.
Seek
Maybe it's my mind.
