Came across the contest for designing a logo for curie, so here's my attempt:
An excerpt from their post regarding Curie;
"is a community witness and a meritocratic community curation project...with an absolute commitment to meritocracy and transparency with an aspiration towards zero corruption."
My take on the illustrated concept is quite straight forward:
The semi-circles surrounding, illustrate the visual construct/system of the community aspired that serves as witnesses towards the curation of meritocracy.
The implied shape of the circle within describes a wholeness of seen yet unseen content.
The mixture of blue and white translates to the community objectives - trust and transparency.
