Today I'm continuing with my journal writing rituals. After I've made my drink of choice I light a candle. This is something I do before any writing actually not just for journal entries.
I love candles. Right now I'm alternating between Christmas tree and apple cinnamon candles from a little shop on Etsy. Their candles last a long time and they use a bamboo wick that crackles when lit.
This is a routine I fell into years ago. I try not to look at how much I spend every month on candles but the phrase, "money to burn" comes to mind often.
