Might I ask, have you always been a practicing Christian? And do you experience moments of doubt, and if so, what reassures you? For lack of a better term, how do you know, how are you assured of God's love?

I sincerely hope you don't find the questions insulting, as they're not meant to be. I find myself drawn increasingly towards something akin to (Christian) divinity and worship, but it's something I wrestle with greatly, particularly on the mental level. I would be genuinely curious and grateful to read your response. :)
