What a heartwarming read. You want kids to like to read? You gotta have this as part of childhood, no? I heard it suggested in a podcast recently that it might do well to even read to them as newborns, even if they don't understand, to have them associate it with nice pleasant times with Mum (or Dad). I liked that a lot.
