This is an original acrylic painting I made of a sockeye salmon tickling the ivories and singing along. I painted this one with jazz great fats waller in mind, and I imagine this debonair fish singing one of his famous tunes with the same smokey tone. Being a northwest boy, I've always had a certain affinity for salmon and was very excited to finally put one down on canvas. I hope everybody enjoys. xoxo
