San Pedro cactus (here, powdered) produced a serious psychedelic experience, not unlike LSD. Its major active ingredient is mescaline, and I was well into Shulgin +++ territory with it. Luckily I escaped any nausea, which is sometimes referred to, as it came on gently and lasted most of the day.
