This illusion that all would be equal has never led to anything good by those who hold the idea

The reality is this: The wider the wealth gap in societies, the more mental and physical health declines.

I have never encountered anyone claiming to even want to build a social structure or society where everyone is equal. I have heard many state what you did but people dont actually advocate that. We should be aware that as the gap widens so does mental and physical health issues.

What I think is going on is people do not want to face up to psychological impact that abuse (even flags) can have on individuals, the platform and Steem. I suggest that reason people may not want to face up to is they may feel that they should do something about it and could damage their progress.

Behind most accounts is a human being with hopes, dreams, aspirations and a very real need for social connections.

I agree that there is good case to be made in favor of some flags. That is a different topic
