We should make findings and discover the truth, establish it before joining any religion. Religion is a practice, we are to practice it, so we must not make any mistake or joining false religion/doctrine.
The first doctrine and commandment is Baptism. The Seven adventists believed that there are only ten(10) commandments.
Baptism is the formal act of joining the church of God. Paul a persecutor, when God called him joined he church of God after being baptised.
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
The church of God was built for man to join and not for fashion sake. You don't have to join the church before you can be saved, you have to accept Jesus Christ. The church is the spiritual body of Christ and it is the church that will teach the doctrine of Christ.
Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.
Ephesians 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The church was proposed by God to make the wisdom of God. The first thing we must do is to accept/receive the truth, the truth in the word of God. Those who said the church of God is no more needed is an Anti-Christ .
There is no such thing as ministry, fellowship or assembly because they are not biblical, but only the Church of God is found in the bible.
It is the church of God not the church if Christ because Christ himself is of God, "Christ of God". Everything that belongs to God is named after God.
Luke 9:20 He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
