Also, I can now play at least 90% of the Prelude on "piano" (real Piano, not that one in Tifa's room, ick) - and am moving onto the other things in the Final Fantasy piano song book once I get my head around chord progressions, key signatures and scales, its all coalescing in terms of musical theory... some five months later.

I also picked up a second hand guitar last week, and have a friend giving me an acoustic guitar in a few weeks that they don't want anymore, so my appreciation for music and its complexities beyond the academic pursuit of its technicalities is growing as I understand more about structure and form.

I still feel like I know nothing, but my piano teacher is pretty happy with my progress across both theory and prac. :D
