Like, a million dollar attack drone can be inoperable by dozens of $10 drones that are designed to just get in the way.

One of my other short story ideas is for a "citizen led censorship", where they "get in the way" of every story, of every camera, and prevent "media" from functioning. Feels like a similar idea. :)

Putting people between the "story" and the events that are the "story", and letting they, themselves, become the story.
