This reminded me of a story I've been meaning to write - I haven't written it yet, but I'm starting after I finish typing this comment.

A government archives building. Someone starts working there. They discover its bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. The archives are not of our universe, but of a parallel one. Haven't thought too hard about the how, but I want to run with the concept and see how it plays out.
