Capitalism sucks, doesn't it? It is so wasteful, engineering things to fail, then needing to "recycle" the thing and do it again; when you could just overspec, and pay a little more, and only need to buy the thing once.
If we had perfected the toaster decades ago, why are we still manufacturing toasters (outside of population growth)?
