Does the @magic8ball bot replies freak you out sometimes?

I think @magic8ball is based on a random guess generator. However, it seems like certain responses are more likely than others and at times the bot seems to be too "on the nose" to be purely random. How does this bot work? Is there some kind of natural language algorithm to decrease the randomness of the response?
