I did a really smart thing today.
I read the Terms of Service for a product I reluctantly have to use. I saw how it used what I would consider aggressive legal language. Then at the end of the arbitration process section I saw the opt-out of arbitration clause.
Tomorrow I am going to do another smart thing. I am going to the post office to send certified mail back to them that I am exercising my right to opt-out of any possible future arbitration.
Why do I have the feeling that I will one day look back at spending the money on certified mail as a great insurance policy?
