It is important to note that before Jesus Christ came to earth, being a Christian was so much hard work.
one had to make sacrifices for sin
One had to obey all ten commandments
Some of the old laws has gruesome consequences
Prayer could mainly be done on a scared ground
But Jesus came to us saying
My yolk is easy and my burden is light
He gave us one ultimate commandment which is love
He brought in the request for forgiveness of sin from the father by paying the price
Christ now acts as a mediator of our prayers
Just like every other thing Christ taught about , prayer can be related to everyday events we experience. The same way we talk to our parents and love ones to strengthen the bond we have , that's how we talk to God to strengthen our bond with him
Prayer is simply talking to God
Prayer is a right of every human. Just like talking to your earthly father, all his children have a right to communicate but the extent and level of interaction will depend on his or her relationship with God.
Ephesians 6:18 ERV
Pray in the Spirit at all times. Pray with all kinds of prayers, and ask for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready. Never give up. Always pray for all of God’s people.
Just like a machine needs oil , fuel and regular checkup, our spirit needs constant communion with God, so at all times means
At work
While eating
While at school
In the cab
On the bus
While taking a walk
While at the stadium
*Everywhere you go, God's conciouness should be on your mind. Walk with him and in him and he'll make your way beautiful.
