A Potential Financial Reset by
@dragosroua
If you鈥檙e not familiar with this saying, it basically means that, for the last decades, a strong decoupling between currency and the value it represents is unfolding. Up until recently, there was a certain cap for the amount of money the world can print. Since the early seventies, this cap is becoming fuzzy. And during the last two years, under the pretext of a global pandemic, it went completely bonkers. There are literally trillions of dollars printed as debt, a debt that future generations should somehow pay, and this trend doesn鈥檛 seem to stop, on the contrary.
I just played a little with a scenario involving the latter. It鈥檚 just for fun, anyway.
So, let鈥檚 see how things could look like in 5-10 years from now, with a new global financial system based predominantly on cryptocurrencies.
The future is blockchain and as highlighted in this piece, there will be many applications of blockchain technology. Interestingly, there was a keen interest in cooperation between blockchain projects. Building bridges between various networks will be key in ensuring the longevity of the crypto industry
How safe is Hive to keep your funds? by
@bala41288
Yesterday, I came to know that there was a huge hack on the Polygon chain, and looks like it is one of the biggest hacks in crypto history. As I'm also involved in multiple crypto projects, I know how sad it could be for the team and especially for a platform that is just emerging. The account that hacked the chain is pretty rich right now.
Are your funds Safu? The recent Polygon hack is one of many to have occurred in the crypto space. It begs the question; is Hive really safe? What's protecting Hive wallets from being hacked?
Hive, "The Path" To Universal Basic Income by
@acesontop
Universal Basic Income is a concept that has been touted quite often in the past one year and half since the plandemic has been forcedly poured into our lives. It's "a great concept" that would make our lives even more miserable if in the hands of the elites deciding what's black and white on this planet.
Universal basic income is a concept that many have tried to push forward in the society. The question is, is it really achievable? This author believes it is and also believes that Hive has the right facilities to make it happen
AMC Theatres To Accept Bitcoin as Payment! by
@agr8buzz
With every epic announcement like this where a mainstream company, especially one in the entertainment business with a younger demographic, announces they are incorporating crypto it's one more step towards mainstream adoption.
Well, the good news is that we now have one more way to spend crypto directly. Yeah, we might not actually use Bitcoin for payments because it can be slow and rather expensive but at least its a sign of good things to come. More adoption means more exposure
Splinterlands Rental System Is Great For New Players ~! by
@travelgirl
The past fortnight or so have been an explosive time for the Splinterlands team. The influx of players have been amazing and we have slowly moved up the charts for daily users. If you are a Splinterlands player, you would know that all packs are sold out except for DICE which would be sold out soon. If you want any of the other packs sold previously, you can probably find them on other markets like Atomic Hub or Hive-Engine. Due to the limited of cards issued over the years from different editions, this would be an issue when we have a large of new players joining us. This is when the rental system came in just in time to cater for these new players.
Splinterlands has been dominating the market for a while now; NFT sales are at an ATH and every day, we're seeing a sensational amount of new players joining in the action. However, as the Play to earn movement continues to grow, it sort of makes the game very "expensive" for a new player looking to grow. In this article, you can see the importance of the rental system in the game and how new players can capitalise on it to grow their stocks and invariably, increase their earnings.
