I do not have a lot of memories about Rio Caribe, except for the hospital. When we did not have doctors in Yaguaraparo, we were taken to Rio Caribe (it was the closest close-to-a-real hospital thing we had around.
I'm not surprised about the current state of what used to be a very touristic place. I have not been to my town in over six years. I can't imagine how it looks now.
