I love this song by Piaf. I had heard it on the radio and someplace else, but I could not tell who she was or cared much about it. It was not until recently, when the movie came out, that I realized how big a figure Piaf was, and how tragic her story was too.
It is a great pick for a song to represent us before some extra terrestrial life, although they may get the impression that we all are as gifted as she was.
