Good day to my co-Splinterlands community! May you have a wonderful day.
This week's battle challenge focuses on Wood Nymph. Before I proceed with my tactics on my games, I would like to share its back story from Splinterlands and emphasize the strengths of our featured card.
"A peculiar new bud appeared at the tips of the highest branches of the Elder Tree. The animals living in the tree watched as the strange buds grew, and in a matter of days, burst open. From each bud zoomed forth a tiny sprite. These Wood Nymphs quickly scattered around Anumรผn in a frenzy of mischief."
These are the Wood Nymph's strengths as for me.
Fourth, and last but not least, the higher its level, it provides increased health for friendly monsters.
As a player, who wouldn't want to have a card like this. It is putting you at a greater advantage with the right summoner and tactics.
The battle rules are 17 mana cap and magic goes to shield. We could use all summoners other than fire.
So, here is my lineup.
Summoner : Mylor
I thought that my enemy would use melee attacks since low manas usually are melees, so I used Mylor as my summoner, where every hit there is a rebound attack caused by Mylor's thorns.
This monster served as my tank and my ultimate defender. I used him thinking that there is a slight possibility that the enemy will use a magic monster
This featured monster served as my back support/attacker and healer, keeping my tank/defender alive and kicking!
This monster may look simple but her low mana and magic still saved the battle.
Enemy's Lineup:
Summoner: Kelya Frendul
Even though the enemy has a regaining shield, as the magic hits its shield it reduces the protection of the enemy by the time unicorn mustang hits the serpent of eld, giving me the full advantage. Though the enemy hits my unicorn mustang, wood nymph would just bring the lost health back that made my strategy work.
If there is a chance of a higher mana cap, I would choose Obsidian as my summoner and would still choose Wood Nymph.
WOOD NYMPH?
What else can I say? I love her! And I would choose her over and over again!

You can also invite me to play with you but if you don't have an account yet on splinterlands, you can use my referral link and enjoy the game with me.
