I have some news about my baby boy. Today we went to the doctor who treats childhood epilepsy.
My baby was born to a woman who had epilepsy and smoked all through her pregnancy. Therefore he has a genetic predisposition for epilepsy.
But the doctor says that by being brought up with a family, his condition can improve considerably!
I will try very hard to make sure he never has epilepsy attacks. The main thing is that he is not mentally retarded. He is developing like a normal child his age. We are doing a lot of activities with him.
He is learning about the world. He likes dogs outside. He looks at them and laughs. He also likes pigeons.
I gave him a bath in warm water tonight before going to bed. He used to be afraid of water, but today he put his head under the shower.
He is also beginning to understand that he is my son. I say, "You're a mama's boy," and he starts hugging me hard. He likes it a lot, that he's a mama's boy.
Matteo takes drops for his epilepsy. They're not the strongest, but they have a drowsy effect. That's why Matteo sleeps so much at night that he doesn't even wake up.
We managed to fall asleep at 8 p.m. So I have a free evening and can write one post about our baby.
It is important for me to post my baby's diary. I will be able to read it all after a while.
