It was a honour and privileged to participate in the MCGI Cares Live Event, a program that teaches and encourages believers to do good to our fellow men.
Points noted from the teachings.
3John 1:11. This part of the scripture told us not to follow that which is evil, but to always do that which is good. We were encouraged by Brother Daniel to always abstain from that which is evil in our lives and always be found doing good.
Good is of God, we must be not be found doing evil if we love God. A true
Christian should be found doing good at all times no matter what people think or react.
1Corinthians 15:33. The Bible warned us about the people we hang around with, as evil communications a
Can corrupt good manners. As a true Christian you must not mingle with evil people because you can become like them one day. Desist from evil doers so that you will not be corrupted.
Deuteronomy 30:19-20. God has give us the opportunity to choose between life and death, bless and curse. You have the choice all by yourself and God does not force you, but he wants us to choose a good life so that we will all be saved and live a fruitful live.
Ephesians 2:10. We are created in Christ Jesus for good works and as ordained by God. We must be ready to continue the good work of Christ which he left and prepared us for.
John 13:34. We must love one another always just as the way Christ has loved us. We have realized that Christ has loved us, we also must transfer thesame love to our fellow brethren and neighbors.
Fear.
2Timothy 1:7. God has never given us the spirit of fear. We were created for power, love and sound mind, never for fear.
Bro Eli talked about fear and how it is not from God. Believers should know that fear is never in our DNA, the only person we should be afraid of is God and not man.
Hebrews 13:6. God is the only one that can deliver is from fear. We must boldly proclaim that God is our helper and not man.
Doing Good.
Doing good is one of the commandment of God. We must be a blessing to others by doing good to our fellow men.
The MCGI Cares have showed us a good example on how Christians should do good to their fellow men by helping the poor and the needy.
God help us as we continue to obey the commandment and always act according to his will.
