There are a few ideas that have been on my mind lately. They push me to think differently and focus on building something new.
What concerns me most is that simply bringing new users to Hive does not automatically create value. Real value comes when users become engaged, contribute to the ecosystem, and eventually decide to invest in it. However, we must also be realistic; most new users are not going to invest money when they first join.
This is one of the main reasons I believe we should not create a system where user retention mainly depends on voting rewards. My long-term goal is to bring one million users into the ecosystem, and I already have a clear vision of how to achieve that. At the same time, I know that not every Hive stakeholder will support my ideas. Even if they did, I do not think Hive's current voting and curation system can effectively manage and curate one million active users at scale.
That is why I am thinking in a different direction. I want to create a system where users do not depend on Hive votes as their main source of value or income. Give me a little time to bring in users first, and then I will start making the moves I have in mind.

The reason this matters is simple: if users do not rely on voting rewards, they will be less likely to sell their earnings right away. As a result, there could be less selling pressure on Hive. In other words, users would have other ways to generate value instead of only counting on content rewards. This could lead to a healthier ecosystem and potentially impact Hive's long-term value positively.

I hope you see the point I am making. My focus is not just on bringing users to Hive; it is on creating a sustainable system that can retain and support them at scale without depending entirely on the traditional voting model.
