Man, if you were to observe the tiny world that lives near you, you would realize the monstrosity, carnage and turmoil that exists there. Beasts with multiple legs, venom and pincers, just waiting for an opportunity, with their traps and tricks to catch anything that moves. Of course, we don't observe this because it's irrelevant to us, animals so small that they hardly bother us. Every home has other homes, an almost alien population right under our noses and we don't even notice. Well, I notice, and whenever I'm in my backyard having a coffee, these mini monstrosities appear. Sometimes I just watch, and on other occasions, like this one, I take photos ...

I don't remember my dreams but if I do remember any, the opposite of it is bound to happen. I think this is a special way of dreams coming to reality and while I won't bother why it happens to me this way, I'm more bothered about good dreams turning to something bad in reality. Imagine smiling to a nightmare after getting all scared and tensed while it was going on... It is weird, really! But over time, I've come to realize that people are different and that includes our dream and reality style. Some people would dream and nothing happens, that's a kind too ...

About two years after I graduated from the university, I was scrolling through the WhatsApp group of my university set, and I stumbled upon some devastating news: apparently a coursemate of mine had been shot multiple times by the police because he was mistaken for someone else while on his way to our alma mater to get his certificate. Reading the news made me have a grip of regrets envelop me because I had dreamt about that incident a month prior but did nothing about it even though I saw his face clearly in my dream. I was having a feeling of guilt and wondering what would have happened if I had warned him. Would I have changed anything? Regretfully, I learned the painful lesson of the weight of unspoken premonitions. Fast forward to a year after that incident, around October 2016, I had another dream, just like the last one ...
