The difference of generations, the difference of age and thinking show that Aladdin and his mother have different views on the power of the spirit that came out of the lamp. There is a struggle of faith for the mother as having the experience of a life knows that nothing comes free of price. Aladdin on the other side is young and yet to discover how the world works.
