Rules are made to guide the behaviours of people within a particular system. Where no rules are in existence there are no transgressors. Most times when you tell people don't do something that is when they will want to do it maybe to know what will be done to them or what. For instance, when I tell my children don't climb the table or stop doing something that is when they will even climb the table to lay on it, now for them to stop I will have to device a means or better still do as if I didn't notice they a doing what I said they should not do, now gradually they will just overgrow that stage.
When I saw this topic it took me over three hours to remember a particular rule I broke, I was even getting tired of thinking because as if I was beginning to feel a little headache. Now when I just told my husband that I don't know what to write ooo, he then broke it down a little for me then I quickly remembered this Insidence am about to share with you.
The Rule Was Broken Out Of Ignorance Though It Pained
When I was in JSS1 this day came my school guiden then asked that I should bring meat to the class room. Now it happened that every Sunday evening we eat rice and stew at night. She left earlier and requested I get her meat cross while the food be kept in her corner till she returns. Now while I was going to deliver this message with a friend we encountered our principal. At that time I was already scared because she knows me by name. I didn't know how to escape from her, so we went to meet her. Then she asked where we were heading to, this nervous Deborah responded, "I am going to give Sister Enwere her own". Now she didn't ask her own what? She left immediately back to the class and called her out of the class and started giving her several querrie. The next day she was sent on suspension for one week with the penalty of buying one bag of rice. Shai, Deborah was a gonna馃槶馃槶馃槶 Most of the seniors don't like beating me because of my relationship with the principal but that Incidence made the seniors to hate me even the more.
How Things Unfold After Then
Now when she returned from that suspension with the 50kg bag of rice after a week she withdrew herself from me and that pained me so much because enjoyed our relationship. I couldn't explain so much to the principal first I didn't know how to express myself as she was not even ready to hear me out. As I said earlier I was hated the more by other seniors especially her friends because of what I made their friend pass through. The next thing I did was that I never allowed myself to be in that situation again, I dare not take food to any senior. I just stay in the dinning to help myself and after that I go my way. Now, due to the fear of not allowing myself enter into trouble or any junior put into any trouble, I take food out of the dinning hall myself then I make sure to do my own chores. I fetch my water to the quantity I wish, I didn't allow the fact I was a senior to make me lazy.
Learning to express oneself is very important as that will save us many trouble, I wouldn't have been into that mess had it been I explained to the principal that I was just taking meat to her or better still ran away because I was sure that the principal didn't just see us as the place was dark and she doesn't see so well at night 馃檮馃檮馃檮. Also it is good to give listening ears to people no matter how correct what we wish to say is, just listen first.
