HIve Naija Update!

This is officially our first post of the year. I would like to apologise for how it's coming a lot later than we promised.

The @hive-naija community has a lot of plans for the year 2022 and while we may have encountered a slow start for the year, we believe we're on track to having a profitable year.

In our last 2 meetings, we noted the following plans and goals for this year. We would like to;

• have at least a thousand active users in the community.
• encourage and open the floor for more active participation in the leadership of the community.
• create a means whereby we can invite and encourage more creativity on the Hive blockchain.
• have more rewarding seasonal contests and prizes for the top 3 participants in HBD or delegations.
• create a weekly newsletter to showcase the creative content of our members.
• have a physical meet-up in Lagos, Port-Harcourt and Ibadan on the 29th of January.
• encourage participation in our Sunday virtual meet-ups and branch out to Twitter in order to create more traction among other Hive users.

In this regard, we currently have @nonsowrites and @young-boss-karin running the majority of the community activities. So, if you would like to offer some assistance with the writing of our newsletter and running out Twitter accounts, we advise that you reach out to us on the general Telegram group and we'll get back to you.

Finally, we encourage more ideas from members of the community at all times and would also specifically like to thank @singhcapital and the @ocd team for their massive support.
