as for the mushrooms names... knowing iD is a good thing - this way you can understand a lot about the mushroom's qualities, is it good for foraging and cooking or not.
but we love mushrooms not for their useful cooking qualities but also for their weirdness and alien outlook too. so the names are not a must. anyway, folks use Google lens to identify ID-s.
