I totally agree with you. While I think it's vital for us to welcome her (and everyone else for that matter) properly, it's also important to not make such a big deal of things. I mean, it's awesome to have wendyo on LeoFinance (and Hive), and influencers are amazing in terms of creating buzz and clout, which is obviously something we will and can benefit from moving forward..

However, I personally hope that we won't see the same things we saw over at Steem in the past. Where influencers and "known" people was rewarded a shit ton of money (tokens) for whatever crap they shared, just due to the simple fact that they had an audience outside of the platform. It didn't work back then and it won't work now, so I hope people will think twice this time.
