If I won one million dollars will it change or would it not change my belief system, practice and desire to live a minimalistic life style? Hmmm well to be realistic it will definitely change my believe system, majority of us who chose the minimalistic life is because we don’t have that much resources to throw around.So it better we invest it on what is need or matter most to our day to day living since I don’t have enough money to spend more or less throw around which leaves me very strategic when it comes to finances. When I purchase any item be it electronics I see it as an investment having the ideology that it will return twice the amount bought, Well if the reverse is the case that I was told I won a million dollars and it came in physical cash not in bonds, stocks or investment.I might run mad in a third world country as mine that’s a lot of money, with the declining economy with a million dollars there is nothing I can’t own.
Let’s do a little math we are currently trading dollar at 570 naira now a $1,000,000 multiplied by 570 naira that’s equals that’s half a billion naira, with this kind of money in my account my status change automatically. My thought process changes completely. If you live in a third world country and you will definitely understand my position in this issue because that’s a lot of money.
