Hey there, Hive Twitter community!
In one of my previous posts on Hive, I discussed the Twitter Algorithm, explaining it like I would to a 5-year-old. Today, I want to simplify it even more by introducing a straightforward number system, plus and minus signs, to help us understand the impact of our actions on Twitter. This way, we can easily calculate the visibility of your tweets and make adjustments accordingly.
To make it visually appealing for easy comprehension, we created an image with a table and number system that we can refer. We are also planning on including the Twitter Visibility Number System in our Daily Twitter Report, ensuring that our Hive Twitter community is consistently reminded of best practices for optimizing tweet visibility and engagement. This daily reminder maybe will help us maintain a strong Twitter presence and achieve better results to achieve our goal on Hive.
| Factor | Description | Tips | Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engagements | Likes, retweets, and replies help boost visibility | Encourage your audience to like, retweet, and reply to your tweets | ( + 2) |
| Content Clustering | Posting within your niche or area of expertise is beneficial | Stick to your area of expertise; avoid posting unrelated content | ( + 1) |
| External Links | Including too many external links may hurt visibility | Limit the use of links; use them only when necessary | ( - 1) |
| Misinformation | Spreading misinformation will lower your tweet's rank | Share accurate, reliable information | ( - 2) |
| Media | Images and videos can help increase visibility | Add relevant images or videos to your tweets | ( + 1) |
| Verified Account | Having a verified (blue check) account may extend your reach | Work towards getting your account verified | ( + 1) |
| Spelling and Grammar | Misspelled words or poor grammar can hurt your tweet's visibility | Proofread your tweets before posting; use correct grammar and spelling | ( - 1) |
| Follower to Following Ratio | Following significantly more people than those who follow you can negatively impact visibility | Keep a balanced follower to following ratio; use lists to organize and follow interests | ( + 1) |
| Bookmarks | Bookmarks may be part of the Favorites Count equation, although not explicitly in the current code | Encourage your audience to bookmark your tweets for later reference | ( + 1) |
| Heavy Ranker | Weights replies to replies and time spent on a tweet | Encourage engaging discussions that can increase time spent on your tweets | ( + 2) |
In addition to the table image provided here, I have also included the Twitter Visibility Number System table in text format above for easy copying and reference. Feel free to use this information alongside the image to optimize your tweeting experience and boost your tweet visibility:
By looking on this simple number system in our daily Twitter activity, we can easily keep track of our actions and their impact on our tweet visibility. Remember to refer to the table image for a quick reminder of the do's and don'ts while tweeting. Happy tweeting :)
