It has been a week since I did the Splinterlands art contest post entry, so today I decided to post my entry. This week, I chose to make Layanna's nature different. I was randomly scrolling on my phone, and suddenly I saw a notification from Pinterest, "Hira, you have goodeyesse." I opened that notification and started scrolling down. Suddenly, I saw a baby girl in a garden, and through that reference, I continued making my drawing. Click here to visit the reference.
Let's start the procedure of making this fan art.
I start making my fan art from a simple outline, for which I use a linear pen to draw straight lines.
In the next step of my outline, I made Layyana's nature dress shirt, anthe d leaves that are present on her shoulder.
Last step of the outline, I finalize the whole outline, making all the details in it.
I start coloring from her face and also make her facial features. I kept her facial features different from the original character. I made her eyebrows much denser than the original ones, also made her eyes and nose realistic, not cartoonish.
In the next step, I color her hair brown instead of making her close. I make her hair small but flowing and open. I color them brown, and also color the leaves present upon her shoulders.
Now I color her shirt as the original character to resemble her appearance.
Next i col, Ior her skirt into white and i realize that i made mistake in the outline of her skirt and it's looking weird so in the next step i made again outline of her skirt and keep it symmetrical to her body. Now she is looking perfect.
By placing the background behind her from the Ibis paint saved backgrounds, I finalize the whole artwork.
