With the Iran deal shredded, the Rats are scrambling. It seems John Kerry and others are trying to stay in the deal and silence Iran.
In 2015, while Obama was working on the Iran deal, Senator Tom Cotton wrote a letter which was signed by a total of 47 Republican Senators (of which 7 Republicans did not sign it).
